In order to make our offer as pleasant as possible for you, we, like many other companies, use so-called cookies. Cookies are small text files that enable the user to be recognized.
We use cookies to set up a so-called session, i.e. to synchronize the status between our server and your web browser.
5. What is the legal basis for processing your data?
We process your personal data in compliance with the requirements of the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and national data protection regulations for the following purposes:
We process your personal data for the purpose of providing the content on our services for retrieval by the user. The processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b) GDPR.
The same applies to the processing of personal data when processing your requests communicated via the contact form.
We also process your personal data if you have given us your consent to do so. In this case, the processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a) GDPR. When obtaining consent, we will inform you of the specific purpose of the intended processing. You can revoke any consent you have given us at any time with effect for the future. Finally, we process your data if we have a legitimate interest in doing so, unless your interests or fundamental rights that require the protection of your personal data take precedence. In this case, the processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f) GDPR.
6. Who do we share your data with?
The BONSAI Partner Portal is used to exchange data and information between trading partners. Your data will be made available to the respective communication partners via the system as part of your entries.
Within IBB, your data will be received by those specialist departments that require it to fulfill a contract or carry out pre-contractual measures. In addition, those specialist departments that process your personal data on the basis of a legitimate interest will receive it.
Where necessary, we also pass on data to service providers who support us (e.g. postal service providers, IT service providers and legal advisors).
Your data will only be passed on to third parties outside IBB and your communication partners if there is a legal obligation to do so (e.g. law enforcement authorities).
7. Do we transfer your data to an international organization or to a third country?
We have involved the above-mentioned technical service providers in the processing of your data. If they process your data in a country outside the European Union ("third country"), we have indicated this in the information on the service provider in question.
Should we commission further or other service providers in the future for the operation of this service who do not process the data of the users of our service in a country of the European Union, this will only take place if it has been determined by a decision of the European Commission that an adequate level of protection exists in the third country concerned (Art. 45 GDPR) or, in the absence of such a decision, suitable guarantees exist for the protection of your data and enforceable rights and effective legal remedies are available to you (Art. 46 GDPR). In any case, we conclude an agreement with these service providers on order processing based on the EU standard contractual clauses before passing on personal data.
8. How long will your data be stored by us?
We store your personal data for the duration of your use of our service. If and insofar as your data is subject to retention obligations under tax law, commercial law or other statutory retention obligations, we store this data in accordance with the respective retention obligations.
